I am a Taiwanese in Singapore. If i need to go to vietnam on business trip, do I need to go to Vietnam Embassy and apply for visa? or Can I apply online?

Sure, you can either apply online for your visa to Vietnam or visit Vietnamese embassy in Singapore to obtain one. For online visa application, you do not need to provide us with a sponsor letter from a Vietnamese company for business purpose, however, the embassy of Vietnam in Singapore will require you to provide such document before issuing your visa.
