Hi,

I am visiting Vietnam as part of a Princess cruise next month and no one can give me a straight answer as to whether I need a visa as I am on a UK passport. I am an Australian resident, but don't know whether a visa is required? Can anyone help. My travel agent is hopeless, Princess don't know, visa agent say play it safe but don't know for sure and the Vietnam consulate in Sydney don't answer. Please... anyone visited Vietnam recently on a UK passport?

Visa on arrival is not available to cruise entry, so you need to contact a nearest Vietnamese embassy to get your visa beforehand. It is strongly recommended that you apply for a visa in Sydney to save your money.
