We need a visa for one of our technicians (UK citizen) for a service in Vietnam. Is it possible to apply online for a visa on arrival for business purposes?

Sure, you can apply online for a 3 month multiple entry visa for business purposes. The process is clearly explained on our website here. If you just want to stay for less than a month, you can also apply for a 1 month visa. Though 1 month visa is set for tourism purposes by default, it can be used for business entry.
